My Air Plants

Tillandsia fillifolia












Tillandsia, a member of Bromeliad family. This beautiful plant is found in the Central and South America, Mexico, USA. Tillandsia absorb nutrients, air and moisture through its element that called trichomes located at its leaves. The root only to anchor the plant to the subtract like rock, tree and driftwood. Tillandsia can grow well in Malaysian climate. Its very unique as ornamental plant in your garden. Tillandsia usneiodes or Spanish moss or 'Janggut Nabi' or ' Janggut Hantu', is the common air plant can be found among Malaysian garden.


Watering : Alternate day at the morning
Fertilizer : 1/4 from recommend concentration.


I used many type of subtracts to plant all my air plant like driftwood, rock, cementferro, PVC pipe and free media.

Hoya - Another Jewel from Malaysian jungle

Hoya is the hidden exotic plant in Malaysian jungle. Not many people know about this plant. When I asked people about Hoya, majority didn't know about this plant. But when I show to them the photo or the plant. They're injected! Start crazy to collect hoya.


I grow all my Hoyas at my hometown, Pahang, Malaysia. Nah! here several photo from my collection. Always increasing.

Herbs for Sexual Enhancer

In Malaysia, there are so many herbs that popular as sexual enhancer. Here I posted several photos of Malaysian herb that very popular for as sexual enhancer among Malaysian especially Malay people. Just posted 2 types of herbs. Will continue this topic in the next post.

Local name : Mas Cotek or Sempit- sempit


Beside popular as ornamental plant, Mas Cotek also popular as sexual enhancer for women, but have several varieties of Mas cotek that can be used for men. Please refer the expert for details. This herb classified into female and male based on the shape of its leaves. Female plant, its leaves must have 'heart' shape and the male plant just an 'oval' shape of its leaves.
