aidy: bro t cool,aku nak tanya ni..kalau buat greenhouse pakai glass bleh tak kat msia?maksudnya ada sistem p'udaraan yg bagus la..ok tak?dpt elak dari 100% bsh hujan la.

jawapnya : aidy..mu boleh buat kalau mu ada banyak duit..tapi kalau ikut ambo..mu tak yah buat la..sebab orkid memang dah sesuai sepanjang tahun untuk hidup dengan baik di Malaysia..negara Barat tu sebab apa nak kena ada greenhouse?...sebab ada musim sejuk kan? kalau nak elak daripada basah kena hujan cukup la buat atap yang 100% tak kena hujan..guna la atap poly ke, atap plastik ke...untuk pengudaraan yang baik di Malaysia cukup kalau mu letak kipas je atau nak cara lebih jimat susunan orkid di dalam kawasan penanaman hendaklah tidak terlalu padat..

tapi kalau orkid kat rumah mu tu dah padat sangat..anto je ke TBV ..he he he..

Here the 1st Q - from Mr Ho

"Ho: helo again. Can we put the blooming orchids under rain water? The heavy rain water can ruin the flowers or not? How about the non blooming orchids, the rain water can help the orchids to bloom? TQ"

Q1 : Can we put the blooming orchids under rain water?
Answer : Can but it will give negatif effect to your orchid's flower.

Q2 : The heavy rain water can ruin the flowers or not?
Answer : Yes, heavy rain water will reduce the period of nice blooming.

Q3 : How about the non blooming orchids, the rain water can help the orchids to bloom?
Answer : 100% NO.. to let your orchids bloom, you need to use fertilizer that high nutrien in Phosporus and Kalium.. normally it stated at the fertilizer's label.

Again, another unique structure of hibiscus flower..my villagers call it Bunga Raya 'Piring Astro'.

Amazing Green Catasetum

Catasetum and its alliance is another my favourite orchid. Don't mind whether its species or hybrid, as long as produce good flower and nice color.

The catasetum's flower normally can last about maximum 2 weeks. Every matured pseudobulb can give us inflorensence once or two.

Here the latest of my catasetum. Purchased it 2 weeks ago, I like the whitish green color and hairy lip! And other factor is....... long infloresence, 1.5 feet!

Hantu or Anthu?

Anthurium ni..kalau di Indon..bisa di gelar Anthurium Corong....aku dah ada sepasu anthurium ni di TBV..tetapi hari ni terserempak dengan 'big clump' Corong...pejam mata je le aku pancung kepala agung.

Ni juga terpaksa pejam mata pancung kepala agung...geram sebab kebesaran saiz pokoknya..

Yang ni bukan anthurium tetapi suku sakat rapat dia le... philodendron....'detail' namanya aku tak tahu...sesaper tao mai le habaq kat aku..

Koleksi ke 38, 39, 40, 41

Koleksi bunga raya le..dah mencapai angka 41 jenis dah ni...ni le 4 yang terbaru dalam koleksi..ID? ntah.satu pung aku tak tahu...any one can ID them, much appreciated!

Saiz bunga dia memang BEEESSAAAARRRRRRR sungguh...sebesar saiz piring makan...tak caya?
Nah ni ha..cuba le korang banding saiz bunganya dengan saiz pokok...sungguh tak padan!

Tertarik sungguh aku dengan 'color combination'nya.
