The blooming Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis : Frame by frame

1. Here the flower bud! At the beginning I thought just a another bud for its new leaves.


2. From day to another day, the bud grew big.. That time I realized, its not leaves but it will give me the first bloom. Yaaiieaahhooo!

3. The green hairy structure occured around every single flower. Look like a tennis ball!


4. Nah! The colors start from the based of the flower. And yup, its red! If an alba..I will be hunted by orchid collectors around the world. He he he he he.

5. Here the full bloomed!





6. Lets explore the inside of its flower. Everything in RED tone.
